My name is Gergely Hando. I'm a street photographer, living Budapest. I began making photographs in 1986. Mostly use OM System Micro Four Thirds cameras, 7Artisans manual lenses and smartphones.

If somebody asks me to define my style of photography I would, most likely, say I am a street photographer. For me, everyone is a story. When I capture strangers, I "steal" a small piece of their lives.

I always look forward to interesting situations and in this case, you cannot plan ahead. Something fascinating, intriguing, unusual is happening and you must be quick. You have to adapt to the situation, otherwise the moment will disappear.
